The groom stood stiffly beside her in a dark suit, one hand resting firmly on her shoulder.
Rachel placed the photograph on the scanner and selected the highest resolution setting.
The museum’s new imaging equipment could reveal details invisible to the naked eye — tiny textures, carvings, stitching, and background elements hidden in shadow.
She started the scan.
