As the years passed, Elin slowly opened herself to life beyond the divorce.
She was linked at different times to businessman Chris Cline and later to former NFL player Jordan Cameron. Some of those relationships remained mostly private, while others briefly pushed her back into the headlines.
There were also painful chapters, including tragedy connected to Chris Cline’s death.
Still, Elin kept moving forward. She appeared determined not to let her identity remain frozen in the moment when Tiger Woods’ scandal exploded. She was building something new — and by then, it was increasingly clear that her life was no longer defined by her ex-husband.
